Supporters of the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, trooped out to the Ikeja area of Lagos State to rally in support of Peter Obi.
On Saturday morning, October 1, the country’s independence day, the supporters, known as the ‘Obidients’, were seen in mass numbers as they marched in the Ikeja area, chanting ‘Obi! Obidient!’
The rally, which took place in four locations in Lagos: Lekki, Ikeja, Surulere, and Festac Town, drew a large crowd, despite the early morning rain.
The supporters in Ikeja started off at the Archbishop Vining’s Church in Ikeja GRA.
Peter Obi is running for president, with Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed as his running mate.
