Yomi Fabiyi pays tribute to the late comedian

Yoruba Nollywood actors are set to honour the late Kunle Adetokunbo, popularly known as Dejo Tunfulu.
The event tagged: ” ARTISTE NITE and COMMAND PERFORMANCE” holds tonight at Ikorodu Town Hall.
In a chat with IkejaBird, Yomi Fabiyi, said the event which involves music and other performances is aimed at paying homage to the veteraƱ comedian for his unforgettable impact in the movie industry.
Fabiyi also noted that the group of actors assisted the late thespian when he had a surgery prior to his demise.
The late actor who died last month was born on May 31, 1972 in Idumota, Lagos Island area of Lagos State. He hailed from Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Adetokunbo was a popular comic actor, writer and producer. He hit limelight for his role in the movie, Omo Oran. He was also popular for his works, Ejide, Hally The Drummer and Jide Jendo, among others.
Adetokunbo was buried on his site in Agbowa, Ikorodu, Lagos State.
In his tribute, Fabiyi said: “He is an original actor-comedian with total dedication and commitment to the craft. He is unique in his own style. He respects all irrespective of age, status and tribe.
Dejo is a legend and an artiste who dedicated his entire life to the craft, a thespian of note.”
