Fire on the mountain as Nigerian actress Ronke Odunsanya calls out her colleague, Mide Martins over rivalry.
The actress shared a photo of herself and Mide Martins with a senior male colleague in the middle while issuing a stern warning to Mide.

Ronke while sharing the photo further said she is not ready for trouble as she is here to stay but if Mide strives for any problem, she is fully prepared.
The two movie stars were reported to currently be on set for a new movie as co-wives and any lover of Yoruba movies will agree that Mide Martins is well-known for causing trouble in her movies.
In Ronke’s words, she said
“Just help me tell @mydemartins that I’m here to stay and not ready for any gbasgbos. If she brings and I’m fully ready. You do this one”.

Meanwhile, on April 16, 2023, the organizers of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) released the nominations for the upcoming ninth edition of the event. The highly-anticipated list includes various categories, and Kunle Afolayan’s Netflix Original, Anikulapo, emerged as the most nominated with 16 nominations.
This include Best Overall Movie, Best Yoruba Movie, Best Actress for Bimbo Ademoye, Best Supporting Actress for Sola Sobowale, and Best Supporting Actor for Taiwo Hassan and Yinka Quadri.
Kunle Afolayan also earned a nomination for Best Director, while Kunle Remi missed out despite his starring role in the film. Shanty Town, a Netflix series produced by Ini Edo and Chi Chi Nworah, as well as Jade Osiberu’s action thriller, Brotherhood, also earned 11 nominations each.
