The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has announced the suspension of its nationwide protest for Thursday, January 27 and February 2.
This decision was taken at its National Executive Council meeting on Tuesday.The suspension followed the decision of the Federal Government to stop the removal of subsidy on petrol.
President of the NLC, Ayuba Wabba made this known at a press conference on Tuesday in Abuja.He disclosed that NLC members who had been mobilised would be demobilised as a result of decision to suspend the protest.
