The Guinness World Record has set tongues wagging after revealing an official instruction of what it takes to set and break a new record.
Taking to their official Twitter account, the international body stressed how important it was for an individual or group attempting to break or set a record to get confirmation from them first before going ahead.
“Polite reminder that you should probably have your world record title confirmed by our team before attempting it,” they stated as they also added an attachment of their step to step guidelines.

Following their announcement, Nigerians ran straight to their comment section to opine that Guinness World Records were referring to Nigerians.
It is important to note that the GWR didn’t call names of people, however, Nigerians firmly believed the instruction was for them as some argued that their instruction was coming after a young lady, Joyc who attempted to break and set a new record for the longest massage time, fainted.
This also came after the GWR announced that Chef Dammy who attempted to break and set a new record for the longest cooking never applied.

Nigerian lady attempting to break Guinness Record for longest massage faints
Meanwhile, a beautiful Nigerian masseur, Joyce Ijeoma who attempted to break the Guinness World Record for the longest massaging time has fainted.
It all started when the lady took to her official Instagram page to share that she was going to be break a record for the longest massage.
Starting from July 1, the young woman had been going strong until a video of how she fainted reached the internet.
