Former presidential aide, and media influencer, Reno Omokri has accused Nigerians of not wanting justice for the late singer, Mohbad.

According to him, many Nigerians are only interested in seeking mob justice against individuals they dislike.

Reno Omokri’s remarks followed Naira Marley’s concerns about the public’s anger towards him.

Marley believes the media is influencing people’s opinions about his involvement in Mohbad’s death, hence, the dislike towards him.

Reno agreed, stating that for Nigerians, “Justice for MohBad” is fixated on targeting specific individuals.

He wrote, “Many Nigerians actually do not want #JusticeForMohBad. What they want is mob Justice against identified people they don’t like. To them, Justice For MohBad means that it just must be a certain person or persons.

“I am really feeling sorry for the @PoliceNG. If their report clears certain persons, some people will insist they have been bribed or otherwise compromised. They don’t want an investigation. They want an inquisition.”

Reno Omokri shades Peter Obi for filling appeal at the Supreme court

In other news, the candidate of the Labour Party, Presidential Election Petition Court, Peter Obi has recently filed 51 grounds of appeal before the Supreme Court to invalidate the election of President Bola Tinubu.

In his appeal, Obi maintained that the Presidential Election Petition Court, PEPC, erred in law and reached a wrong conclusion when it dismissed the petition he lodged to challenge the outcome of the presidential poll that was held on February 25.

Shortly after Obi submitted his request, a well-known Nigerian writer and politician, who often criticises Peter Obi, used Twitter to make fun of him for seeking justice.
