A Nigerian lawyer recently shared a  story about his friend who is serving in the military, shedding light on the financial struggles soldiers endure.

 According to the lawyer, his friend, who is currently a soldier, faced dire circumstances when he couldn’t afford to take care of his newborn baby.

 Desperate for help, he reached out to the lawyer, who assisted him.

Soldiers receive #60,000 as salary- Lawyer

The lawyer revealed that soldiers in Nigeria receive meager salaries, some earning as little as 60,000 naira per month. Despite dedicating themselves to their duties, many soldiers are unable to provide for their families adequately.

In an effort to bring attention to the issues soldiers face , the lawyer  post the story on his Twitter account,  offering hope that help would come their way.
