Nigerian breweries has decided to also increase the prices of beers in the country leaving many groaning in frustration.
This decision is coming following the country’s economic situation, and was shared through a letter dates August 1st, 2023.
It was also reported that the prices of the drinks will increase starting from Thursday 10th of August, 2023.

“This is to inform you that we will review the prices of some of our SKUs effective Thursday 10th August 2023,” the letter read.

NLC declares August 2 nationwide strike over increase in fuel price
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has given the Federal Government seven days to change certain policies that they believe are unfair to the Nigerians
One of these policies is the recent increase in the price of petrol.
If the government doesn’t act within the given time, the NLC plans to start a nationwide strike from August 2nd.
