The Chief Imam of Apo Legislative Quarters Juma’at Mosque in Abuja, Sheikh Nuru Khalid, has been sacked by the mosque’s Steering Committee for his criticism of President Muhammadu Buhari on last Monday night’s Abuja-Kadauna train attack.
At first, the Chief Imam was suspended by the Steering Committee of the mosque.
However, on Monday, the Steering Committee sacked him.
It hinged the decision on his unrepentance and refusal to show remorse.
Travellers aboard a train from Abuja to Kaduna were attacked by terrorists on Monday, March 28,2022.
This generated outrage from everyone.
