Nigerian Police Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi has reacted to the viral video showing police extortion and brutality at Agege.

Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi tweeted, asking Nigerian citizen @BenHundeyin, who first reported the incident on social media, to furnish information about the policemen involved in the harassment of Nigerian citizens.

He disclosed that the case requires additional investigation since it’s a blemish on the Nigerian police force, and he’s prepared to scrutinize it closely.

Additionally, Prince Olumuyiwa requested that the victim(s) of the reprehensible conduct by the policemen send him a text message, as he would require additional information from them.

In reply to the Police spokesman’s tweet, one of the netizens @Booms883 identified the policemen as Agege abattoir police station officers with further claims that their DPO knows about their illegal actions around the area.

Numerous Nigerians have reported the Nigerian Police Force disorderly conduct in unlawfully harassing civilians.

African man speaks against corrupt African immigration officials 

Meanwhile, John Kofi Annan, a Pan-Africanist, has called out immigration officials for their corrupt practices on LinkedIn.

Kofi stated that immigration officials were taking money from him in order for them to stamp his passport.

He requested for a receipt which will show that the money was paid into a government account, if it was really a legal act.
