A Nigerian man has left social media in disarray after asserting that his wife must submit everything she is and has to him because he was her husband.
In a chat with a man with the host of ‘Roundtable’, the unidentified man who craved anonymity was heard stating that his wife must give him all she has.
He defended his words by stating that God has instructed women to submit to their husbands which also includes all they have.

He added that his wife has no right to achieve things that he has not achieved, adding that her salary must also be submitted to him and he decides how she spends it.
His words didn’t sit well with many social media users who claimed that he had twisted the words of God and also requested his identity.

Meanwhile, a Nigerian woman shared why she does not believe in submitting her salary to her husband or would advise any married woman to do that.
According to her, a woman has the right to invest in herself and secure herself financially, she narrated that when it comes to her relationship, she is a better money manager than her husband.
The woman who identified herself as Bukola explained that it makes no sense for a woman to submit all she has including her salary to her husband, and now ask her husband for things when she needs them.
