Reality TV personality and singer, Hazel Oyeze Onou, widely known as Whitemoney, has confidently asserted that his latest song, ‘Oyoyo,’ is worthy of a Grammy accolade.
The winner of BBNaija Season 6 insisted that the track currently holds the title of the “biggest song” in Eastern Nigeria.
“My latest single, Oyoyo, is at the moment the biggest song in the East. That track deserves a Grammy, and this is not me capping; rather, I am just stating the fact,” Whitemoney expressed in a recent interview.
He also disclosed his aspirations to venture into the world of Nollywood during the conversation, expressing confidence in his abilities, talent, and magnetic presence as he aims to become a prominent figure in the Nigerian film industry.

Whitemoney shared plans for upcoming movie projects slated to hit cinemas before the year concludes.
“I believe I have the ability, talent and charisma to be a top Nollywood superstar. I have a couple of movies in the works. Before the end of the year, they would hit the cinemas,” he said.
It’s worth noting that the Grammy organizers recently introduced the Best African Music Performance category for the 2024 edition, featuring nominations from artists such as Davido, Musa Keys, Ayra Starr, Burna Boy, Asake, Olamide, and Tyla.
