Mykhailo Mudryk has finally opened his goalscoring account for Chelsea in the Premier League.
This comes as Chelsea beat Fulham in their West-London derby match on Monday night two goals to none.
Mudryk’s goal came in the 18th minute following a cross from Chelsea wing-back Levi Colwill. Fulham’s defender Issa Diop misjudged the height of the cross, which allowed Mudryk to cushion it for a controlled finish between Bernd Leno’s legs.
And then, less than a minute later, a misjudged pass from Tim Ream sent Armando Broja to put the Blues two goals ahead.

Fulham struggled to get back into the game – and went really close several times – but Chelsea was able to hold on to secure their second win of the season.
Mudryk signed for Chelsea from Shakhtar Donetsk in January for a cumulative fee of €100 million. However, his twenty-one appearances in the Premier League for Chelsea have been marred by uninspiring performances sans a goal. Unfortunately, the Ukrainian international was forced off at half time due to an injury.
It was also Broja’s first goal for Chelsea since October 8, 2022, after almost a year of injury sidelining.
This win moves Chelsea to 11th on the Premier League table while Fulham drop to 13th. Both teams have the same number of points, but Chelsea lead with a goal difference of 1 to -7.
