MohBad, a popular Nigerian musician, passed away recently, and there have been many questions about whether he is the biological father of his five-month-old son named Liam.
In an interview with BBC Pidgin, Joseph Aloba talked about his relationship with his late son, MohBad, and was asked about the growing demand for a DNA test on Liam. He said that they should do the right thing at the right time, suggesting that a DNA test might be necessary.

Investigation on Mohbad’s death
This demand for a DNA test has arisen due to controversy and speculation surrounding MohBad’s death. Some people on social media have questioned the paternity of Liam, suggesting that MohBad’s widow, Omowunmi, may have been unfaithful.
This has led to a debate about whether it is appropriate to request a DNA test in such a situation.
Some celebrities, like Iyabo Ojo and Mary Njoku, have defended Omowunmi and asked people to focus on seeking justice for MohBad, as the circumstances of his death were sudden and mysterious.
The Nigerian police are currently investigating his death and have conducted an autopsy, but the results have not been released yet.

Sam Larry allegedly the father of Mohbad’s son – Kemi Olunloyo
In another news, Nigerian investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo has made fresh allegations amid the ongoing investigation into the death of Nigerian singer Mohbad.
In a post shared on the microblogging platform X, Kemi revealed some findings from her personal investigation into the mystery surrounding Mohbad’s death.
According to her, both Mohbad’s wife and Sam Larry had hands in the singer’s death, as Sam Larry is allegedly the father of Mohbad’s son. She also leveled accusations at Mohbad’s father.
