Nigerian singer, Azeez Adeshina, aka Naira Marley has been taken into Lagos State police custody over his alleged involvement in the death of Mohbad.
After the death of his former signee, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad, many accused Naira Marley and his ally, Sam Larry of being involved.
However, he denied the allegations and expressed his intention to return to Nigeria to aid the investigation if the police can guarantee his safety.

Surprisingly, on Tuesday, the Lagos State Police PRO, Benjamin Hundeyin announced that he has been taken into their custody.
He wrote, “Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley has been taken into custody for interrogation and other investigation activities.”
Recall that Sam Larry was also previously taken into police custody.
