Messi embarks on epic 150-city world tour in 2024

Football legend Lionel Messi is set to embark on a massive world tour, “The Messi Experience, ” which will visit 150 cities globally starting April 2024. 

The innovative multimedia event will transport fans through an interactive 75-minute journey highlighting Messi’s monumental career from childhood to the 2022 World Cup triumph.

Messi Mania Begins in Miami 

The tour, organized by entertainment companies Primo and Moment Factory kicks off in Miami on April 25, 2024. Thousands have already purchased tickets for the opening event at Regatta Harbour’s Hangar venue. 

The 2,300 square meter space will feature nine different attractions using special effects and artificial intelligence to fully immerse attendees in Messi’s storied journey.

Fans will get to relive Messi’s early years in Rosario, key moments with Barcelona and the Argentine national team, and his recent move to Inter Miami. They can also interact with a virtual Messi, compete in drills on a mini pitch and get real-time match updates. 

The visual spectacle aims to inspire and entertain while connecting viewers with Messi’s life in an unprecedented format spanning 75 minutes.

World Tour to Span Europe, Americas and Asia 

Following the Miami launch in April, The Messi Experience will embark on an ambitious world tour across 150 cities globally. While locations are still being finalized, the tour promises to reach Europe, numerous spots in the Americas, as well as Asian countries where Messi has a tremendous fanbase.  

Event co-producer Andres Naftali stated, “The fan response has been overwhelming and we are thrilled to take The Messi Experience to 150 cities worldwide. This is not just an event – it is a World Tour allowing fans globally to immerse themselves in Messi’s extraordinary career.”

Given Messi’s glory-filled years with Barcelona and his cultural ties to South America, the tour will surely highlight his deep connections to those regions. Asian fans will also get an up close look at the living legend they have passionately supported from afar.  

2024 Shaping Up As Messi’s Victory Lap 

With the globe-spanning 2024 tour on the horizon, next year is quickly shaping up to be a virtual victory lap for the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner following his iconic World Cup win last December. After leaving fans spellbound for over 15 years as a player, he will now meet them in person during this ambitious event.
