Samuella Osae, a child prodigy, has left many people in awe after authoring and publishing her first book at the young age of 8.
In a video interview by Zionfelix, Samuella who is now 13 years old and a JSS 2 student of Martyrs Uganda Preparatory School in Kumasi, Ghana, shared what inspired her to write a book at that age.
The book titled “A stranger’s toffee” became the talk of the town when it was made known that the young girl wrote all of it in just 1 hour.

She stated that right from early childhood, she wrote stories. She would listen to her friends talk about cartoons and make them into stories. However, those stories were lost because she did not know she was supposed to preserve them.
How it all started
However, the book “A strangers toffee” was birthed after she saw her sister almost get kidnapped by a stranger who offered her toffee.
Although she watched it all happen from afar, this kindled a desire in her that birthed the book.
It made her have a strong desire to educate people; children especially, on how to identify kidnappers and avoid their wiles.
She stated that she hopes to get her books to many homes homes so as to alert other kids about what to do if they find themselves in a situation like her younger sister did.

Police nab suspected kidnapper
In other news, Policemen attached to the Odeda Divisional Headquarters have arrested a suspected kidnapper identified as Sunday Alani for allegedly stealing a one-year-old child at Atolashe village in Odeda Local Government Area of the state.
IkejaBird learnt that Alani was arrested as he attempted to abscond with the said child.
Ogun State Police Command spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi, in a statement, disclosed that the suspect was arrested after a distress call was put to policemen attached to the divisional headquarters.
