Kylian Mbappe has responded to the series of mockery he received after the World Cup from Argentine players.
The 23-year old stated strongly that how winners choose to celebrate is not his problem.
Recall that Emi Martinez, Argentina goalkeeper was seen holding a doll with Mbappe crying face.
Mbappe also informed the press that he had congratulated Lionel Messi and will be looking forward to playing with him once again at club level.
What the PSG Forward Said
Kylian Mbappe said: “Celebrations are not my problem. [I] don’t waste energy on such futile things, the important thing for me is to give the best of myself for my club.”
On Messi, he said: “We will wait for Leo to come back to continue scoring and winning games. I spoke with him after the final, and I congratulated him. It was the quest of a lifetime for him, for me too, but I failed, so you always have to be a good sport.”
A Night to Remember for Mbappe
Mbappe was the star of the match against Strasbourg on Wednesday. He scored a late penalty in the 96th minute to make sure his team went home with all the three points.
Neymar, his teammate, was sent home for making the impression of a foul in the 18 yard box.
