Man United suffering continues: Onana’s error gives Galatasaray late lead at old Trafford  

It was an eventful night of Champions League football at Old Trafford. Manchester United faced a deepening crisis, while Galatasaray celebrated a famous victory.

In Group A, Bayern Munich secured a 2-1 win against Copenhagen, putting them in the lead with six points. Galatasaray followed closely in second place with four points, while Copenhagen had one point. Unfortunately, Manchester United found themselves at the bottom of the group with zero points after two games.

The anticipation was high as the match was about to kick off at Old Trafford.

Match Report 

In the 17th minute, Rasmus Højlund scored a goal, giving Manchester United a 1-0 lead. However, Galatasaray quickly responded when Zaha netted a goal in the 23rd minute, leveling the score at 1-1.

In the 31st minute, Torreira of Manchester United received a yellow card. Things took a turn when Hojlund’s goal was disallowed due to offside in the 59th minute.

But Manchester United regained the lead in the 67th minute, with Rasmus Højlund scoring his second goal, making it 2-1. Galatasaray wasn’t done yet, as Kerem Aktürkoglu found the back of the net in the 71st minute, equalizing the score at 2-2.

Manchester United’s troubles worsened when Casemiro received a second yellow card in the 77th minute, resulting in his dismissal from the game. In the 78th minute, Icardi missed a penalty for Manchester United.

In a dramatic twist, Galatasaray took the lead in the 81st minute with a goal from Icardi, making it 3-2 in their favor.
