An African-American man has recourse to extremely painful lengthening surgery after feeling insecure about his height for years.

The man identified as Moses Gibson was 5’5 before doing his surgery which sprang him up to adding a whopping 5 inches.

The 41-year-old explained that he made this decision after he had used several drugs and seek a spiritual healer, without yielding any results, he decided to do surgery.

Moses who is from Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, has done two surgery so far to lengthen his height. He has spent a total of $165,000 (about N75,954,450) to achieve a height of 5ft 10 inches.

The surgery which required some of his bones to be broken was first done in 2016, to reach a height of 3inches and he paid $75,000 (N34,524,750), then after 7 years he decided to get another 2inches which he paid $98,000 (N45,112,340)

Moses shared that he has always been displeased with his height since he was in high school and has even gone as far as affecting his dating life, but after his surgery, he has finally gotten himself a girlfriend.

“When I was in high school, I was always unhappy with my height. As far back as when I was probably like 15, I realised most of my peers were taller than me. It was my self-confidence in general, and with the ladies. It affected my dating life.,” he said.

After searching for years for the best and long-lasting solution to his problem, Moses found out about the surgery when he got to college and knew that he would definitely get it.

The man with new determination and aim started working as a software engineer during the day and Uber driver at night. He eventually gathered $150,000 dollars for the surgery.

Moses has now done the surgery but has to use a height lengthening device to help pull the cut born apart and help his body to build a newborn tissue which will fill the gap and then get his 5ft 10in height.

“So I’m looking to go to 5’10. I’ll be happy at 5’10. If my body and everything else allows me to go three inches [5’11] then even better. You go home and you have a week or two for some healing to happen before you get the device to start lengthening,” Moses explained.
