Harry Maguire, who was no longer the captain of Manchester United, has expressed his intention to leave the club in January if he continues to have a minor role under the manager Erik ten Hag.
He recently got a chance to play in the Premier League due to injuries to other defenders and even set up a goal in a game.
However, when the injured players return, he might not get as much playing time, which could affect his chances of being in the starting lineup for England in Euro 2024. Maguire said, “I don’t want to sit on the bench and play only once in a while. If this continues, I’ll discuss my future with the club.”

He believes in his abilities but is frustrated by not getting enough playing time. Maguire almost joined West Ham in the summer, but he’s willing to stay at United if given a proper opportunity.
He mentioned his good performance record when he has played and is currently focused on playing well for England. After that, he hopes to regain his place at Manchester United and help the team move up in the league.
