Solomon Buchi, Nigerian writer and social media influencer has left many sharing their experience on social media after he revealed how he battled with anxiety.

In an Instagram post, the life coach posting a throwback picture explained how he was rushed to the hospital in 2018 after he had a nervous breakdown.

According to Solomon, on that Sunday, he had a serious anxiety that elicited a nervous breakdown, he had to be rushed to the hospital where he was given Diazepam (a drug used to treat anxiety) to calm him down.

He recounted that throughout his stay in the hospital, he was sleeping and had multiple breakdowns as he questioned if he was going to continue living his life the way it was years back. Solomon Buchi admitted that has been through so much in his life.

However, the life coach motivated people who might be going through something at the moment as he shared that although he is still dealing with anxiety but he is far from where he was and God had been faithful. He urged people to trust God and hope for the best, adding that they should never give up because their lives will get better.

“This was me 5 years ago. I was rushed to the hospital on a Sunday. I had a serious anxiety that spiked a nervous breakdown. My BP read 140/90. I was injected me with 20mg Diazepam to calm me down. I slept till I was discharged. I slept and got tired of sleeping. Balled my eyes out because God is that how I was always going to live my life?. I’ve known pain; I really have. 5 years later: life is better.”

“Yes, I’m still dealing with anxiety and still on meds. My blood pressure this morning was 119/70. It still fluctuates, but God is good. Every woe isn’t gone yet, but life is better. Life will get better. Trust God and never give up,” he shared.

New mother cries as she battles postpartum depression 

In another news, a young woman from Nigeria opened up about her struggles with motherhood and depression after delivering her beautiful baby girl.

The mother of one took the time to share her woes as she cried out to fellow mothers for help explaining that she’s going through a lot.

In the heartbreaking video, she recalled how hardworking her mother was and described how miserable she felt about her inability to be a supermum like her.
