Popular Nigerian film actress, Rita Edochie has taken to the social space to once again remind netizens of the sudden loss of Kambilichuckwu, Yul and May Edochie’s son.
Recall that the 16-year-old young man, unfortunately, passed away to the great beyond on a Thursday morning, March 30, 2023, when he was in school.
Reports were while Kambi was playing football with his schoolmates, he suddenly collapsed and that was how the young boy was lost to the cold hands of death leaving his parents in a devastating moment.

Rita Edochie who is the wife of veteran actor, Pete Edochie’s younger brother, Tony Edochie shared that it’s been two months since Kambi’s unexpected death.

The actress penned down a message to the late boy, she explained how his mother and siblings are doing well and explained that their only consolation was that he was resting in the great beyond.
“let the drama king and drama devil know this. kambili my son, today marks exactly two months since you departed this sinful world, to the great beyond. our consolation is that you are resting in the bosom of our lord jesus christ. my son, you are gone but not forgotten. we are trying to cope with the vacuum your untimely death left in our hearts, by looking onto the good lord to grant us the fortitude to bear the loss. your mother queen may yul edochie is doing great and trying her best to be more strong. your siblings are fine too though they miss you but it is well.”
Reacting to her subtle shade, Yul Edochie’s second wife, Judy Austin posted a video on her official Instagram page and said, “LOVE is the greatest weapon!!! Fill your heart with Genuine LOVE and you’ll be UNTOUCHABLE!!! The Happiest girl I know. I hope y’all had a wonderful day today?”

In other news, Sonia Ogiri, a US-based actress praised May Edochie for her courage in dealing with the loss of her son, Kambi, on social media.
Sonia said that even though May Edochie had suffered a great loss, she had remained upbeat and supportive of her other children, and that was admirable.
Sonia commented that making noise was cheap and uncouth in response to Yul Edochie’s and his second wife Judy’s recent social media activity, including their recently released maternity photoshoot.
