Lagos govt close down churches, nightclubs, others over noise pollution

The Lagos State Government has taken action to address noise pollution by sealing off various establishments in different areas of the state, including Lagos Island, Ojudu, Ogba, Magodo, and Ikosi. 

The affected businesses include churches, bars, nightclubs, event centers, and more. 

This enforcement operation was carried out by officials from the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA), as depicted in photographs shared by the office of the Lagos State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab. Notable establishments among those sealed include New Jerusalem Ark of God International Church and Yplus Event Centre.
