#justiceforDon-davis: Deeper Life High School principal, others arraigned in Court, to be remanded in prison.

Deborah Okezie, mother of Don-Davis Archibong, a Junior Secondary School student of Deeper Life High School, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State has given update on the case of her son, who was allegedly assaulted by a teacher and some senior students of the school.

Mrs Okezie had called out the management of Deeper Life High School after her son narrated how pupils in his dormitory sexually assaulted him by sticking their hands in his anus when others were sleeping and suffered molestation by a teacher he called, Mr Akpan because he bed wets.

He went on to say that he went hungry many times in the hostel because Mr. Akpan wouldn’t let him eat. Each time he came to the dining to eat when food is ready, Mr. Akpan would send him on an errand or chase him away, so he will miss that meal.

Don-Davis explained that, he survived for so long because, he would use his pocket money to buy biscuits and coke and that was what he will eat for the whole day.

“The seven suspects have been arraigned at a High Court in Uyo and were asked to be remanded in the prison Custody with stiff bail conditions.

“5 of the suspects, the Principal Ndidi Solomon, the Vice Principal, the wicked House masters, Akpan and others apart from the 2 minors were ordered to be detained in the prison custody until they met their bail conditions.

“Further more, after a lengthy argument that lasted for about 3hrs, the judge ruled that the 2 accused minors, Ola and Shalom will be tried at the Juvenile family Court, while the other 5 accused persons will be tried in the open Court where everyone shall see.”
