According to a statement from his special assistant on media and publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, President Bola Tinubu appoints Fela Durotoye and four other individuals to his presidential media advisory council on Monday.
The head of the non-profit GEMSTONE Nation Builders Foundation and business consultant Fela Durotoye, 52, trains young people for social change and transformative leadership. He was designated the President’s Senior Special Assistant for National Values and Social Justice.
Journalist and communications expert Fredrick Nwabufo has been named Senior Special Assistant to the President for Public Engagement. Linda Akhigbe was named Senior Special Assistant to the President – Strategic Communications after graduating from the Federal Polytechnic Auchi in Edo State with a degree in mass communication. She will also work as the President of the company’s communications adviser.

All newly appointed employees in the Media and Publicity directorate have been tasked by President Tinubu to uphold the highest standards of decency and decorum in their interactions with all members of the public as they advance the President’s tenacious effort to restore Nigerians’ faith in a reorganized economy and unified society that adequately meets the needs of all, regardless of any differences.
As Tinubu gets ready for his first full year in office, the appointments take place. He has committed to prioritize national harmony and economic progress.
