On his Instagram account, popular Nigerian rapper Folarin Folana known as Falz, shared a video in which he revealed that he recently underwent knee surgery.
According to Falz, he sustained an injury on his knee while playing football on November 23rd, which caused him persistent discomfort.
A week later, he went to the hospital for a check-up, and an MRI was conducted on his leg. The MRI results indicated that he had suffered a complete tear on his ACl, which could only be treated through a surgical operation.

Surgery was successful
Falz’s knee surgery was scheduled for May 2nd, and it was successful. He underwent a complete reconstruction of his ACI, and upon discharge from the hospital, he had to use crutches.
Nigerians were concerned about him, and his video on Instagram gathered a lot of reactions from his fans and followers.

Rappers Falz and Vector criticise INEC
In another news, Sensational Nigerian rapper, Folarin Falana, has taken a swipe at the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Yakubu Mahmood, in a new single titled “Yakubu.”
Coming on the heels of the results of the newly-concluded general elections in Nigeria, which many observers described as a process marred by irregularities, Falz slammed the chairman of the electoral umpire for conducting a sham with N30billion.
In the video featuring another rapper, Vector, Falz expressed disappointment in how the elections were conducted.
