Nigerian legendary artiste, Innocent Idibia aka 2face, has opened up on the passing of his friend, Sound Sultan.
Speaking on Afrobeats Podcast hosted by Adesope, 2face described Sound Sultan as a very good person, and an angel.
He said, “He was one of the goodest, if I can use that word. He was one of the goodest people that you can ever come across.
“For a long time, I did not accept that fact, it was like a joke. The diagnosis was late, he did tests in Nigeria. We thought it was malaria but I don’t want to get into all that.”
2face and Sound Sultan were good friends for years before the latter’s passing.
Olanrewaju Fasasi a.k.a Sound Sultan, sadly passed away in 2021 after bravely battling Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma. His loss is deeply felt by many.

Meanwhile, Veteran Singer Olarenwaju Abdul-Ganiu Fasasi aka Sound Sultan is dead.
He died today, Sunday 11th July, 2021 after a long battle with Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma.He died at the age of 44.
