The son of the popular televangelist Joshua Mike-Bamiloye mostly known as Jay-Mike, spilled that it is not lawful for Christians to attend some concerts.
The gospel-based artiste urged that concerts or shows organized by secular musicians such as Davido, Rema, Wizkid and others are not spiritually inclined therefore, a true believer should not attend.
Joshua argued that any Christian who is filled with the Holy Spirit would understand and know when to set boundaries, while others may not.

Davido, Rema, Wizkid are indecent
In reply to Joshua Mike-Bamiloye’s submission, a Twitter user popped up a question citing if it is ungodly also to attend concerts of more decent secular musicians such as Johnny Drille and some others.
However, Jay_Mike insisted that it is still illogical to attend such concerts as he explained that these decent secular music stars might also perform alongside the indecent ones at the same show.
One of the netizens criticized him for mentioning top secular music stars such as Davido, Rema and Wizkid as indecent music artists while trying to buttress his point.
Reactions: We aren’t ready for this truth yet
The tweets gathered lots of controversial reactions as many claimed that the guidance of the Holy Spirit is not limited to just music. Here are some of the reactions:
@Chukwuma: Doesn’t this truth also affect our other choices of dress, hairdo etc.?! 4 you
@Logic_60: While this assessment is on point, it is quite unfortunate that there are lots of people who no longer endure sound doctrine but gravitate towards charlatans who only feed their depravity
@austindav: So true, you sing blessed the Lord oh my soul on Sunday and then on Monday rema songs It is well ooo. We have to do everything through the guidance of the Holy Spirit
@BBeePam: I totally agree but we aren’t ready for this truth yet
@abjaynuel:I agree with you. Because in such the musicians in those shows insult God and Christianity by their doings…

Should Christians participate in politics?
Meanwhile, the Redeemed Christian Church Of God (RCCG), established the Directorate for Politics and Governance in
preparation for the 2023 general elections. It is aimed at coordinating the affairs and activities of all members seeking elected office in the forthcoming elections.
This move has raised questions on whether Christians should be actively involved in politics and the age-old issue of separation of church and state.
