Cristiano Ronaldo received an extraordinary welcome in Iran, with hundreds of enthusiastic fans pursuing the Al-Nassr team bus ahead of their highly anticipated match against Persepolis in the Asian Champions League.
The Saudi Arabian team, Al-Nassr, came to Tehran for this important match, and fans were beyond excited to see Ronaldo.
Videos posted on Al-Nassr’s social media showed fans sprinting down the road, trying to catch a glimpse of their team’s bus, as excitement for the game reached a feverish pitch.

Iranians gave Ronaldo a hero’s welcome
Fans of all ages were seen holding up posters of Ronaldo and wearing shirts with his name as they eagerly awaited the Portuguese superstar’s appearance in the Iranian capital.
In other social media videos, hundreds of local fans could be seen flooding into the hotel where Al-Nassr was staying, chanting “Ronaldo, Ronaldo.” It was a truly electric atmosphere!

In another news, Cristiano Ronaldo led Al-Nassr to an impressive 4-0 victory against a struggling Al-Shabab side.
The 36-year-old forward, in front of a packed Al-Awwal Park, guided Faris Najd to their second consecutive league win and third overall in various competitions.
Right from the start, the hosts asserted their dominance, and they had an opportunity to take the lead with a penalty in the 11th minute. New signing Otavio was fouled in the box, and Ronaldo confidently stepped up, converting the penalty past Seung-Gyu Kim.
