A brilliant Nigerian Lady, Nneka Praise Okoro has earned a first-class Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering on the same day.
She earned this spectacular achievement after 5 years of study at the University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom.
The excited lady shared the great news on her LinkedIn handle where she graciously thanked all those who had supported her.

Her post read:
“Just graduated with a 1st Class Masters Degree In Civil Engineering from The University of Edinburgh.”
“This journey has been 5 years In the making and I cannot thank everyone enough for how much they have supported me along the way. It really takes a family,” she added.
“Congratulations to all the 2022 BEng and MEng graduates and goodluck for the future 🥳”
Bachelor’s and Master’s degree on the same day
She was admitted into the University of Edinburgh in 2017 and supported her education by working some part-time jobs like being a waitress and tutor.
During her time in the University of Edinburgh, Praise served as the Secretary of the University of Edinburgh Engineering Society and Vice President of The University of Edinburgh Nigerian Society.
Praise’s hard work paid off when she was simultaneously awarded both her Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering on the same day.
