Bella Shmurda, one of Nigeria’s popular musicians, announced the birth of his son, just a few days before the release of his highly anticipated album. Fans are buzzing with excitement about both the album and the news of his son’s arrival.
In a tweet on Monday, the musician shared the exciting news about the birth of his son, while also revealing that he had lost a child the previous year.
He wrote “A few days to the drop of my album last year, I was an emotional and mental wreck. I’d just gotten to the UK where I was scheduled to do some promotional activities when I heard the news that I’d lost the child I was expecting at birth.”

Shmurda revealed that he received threats soon after the incident, adding that he also saw a video of some men who were sent to attack him at a location where he was supposed to be. “I was hurt, angry and confused. It was the darkest place I’d ever been in my life, but somehow, light found its way through to me in that tunnel.”
Although, Bella Shmurda acknowledged that what he had lost could never be replaced, he expressed his joy and gratitude, writing, “I have another chance, a new lease on life. A new purpose. I’m a new Daddy; DO NOT DISTURB.”
