In an interview with the ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, he asserted that the Igbo tribe migrated from Ile-Ife.
According to him, he mentioned that a lot of facts about the migration of the yoruba people around the world was distorted.
He also added that each day, he was discovering new things about the yoruba culture and thanked those who took it upon themselves to search deeper.

In a speech while unveiling the first conference tagged ‘Ile-Ife and Yoruba Civilization: Nexus between Tradition and Modernity’ which had the presence of Professor Siyan Oyeweso and his team.
The ooni challenged them to research deeper into the yoruba root and come up with convincing facts about the tribe and its culture.
Igbo tribe migration
Oba Adeyeye stated that the countries he had travelled to, one of which is Ghana, had a part of its root from Oromiya, that when traced led to the Agaako compound. He said the same thing for Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya.
The Ethiopians were traced back to the Okerewe, in Ife, while Kenya and Uganda was traced back to Luwo.
He said: “The Upper Crust of the Igbo land have discovered that they are not from the Jews of Israel, but rather from the dark Jews who were the original jews.”
Oyinbo men shock many by participating in yoruba rites
Meanwhile, you would think that African culture can only be exhibited by Africans, but this thought was countered by a group of oyinbo men.
