If Peter Obi had won at the Presidential Election Petition Court, there would have been a civil war in Nigeria: Reno Omokri | Ikejabird.com

Former media aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has expressed his belief that Nigeria would have been at risk of a second civil war had the Presidential Election Petition Court ruled in favour of the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

The Presidential Election Petition Court recently declared that President Bola Tinubu was not convicted in the United States and rejected the argument that he needed to win 25 percent of the votes in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to be declared president, as raised by the Labour Party and Peter Obi in their petitions.

Reacting to this judgment, Omokri commended the decision and emphasized the potential dangers that could have arisen if Peter Obi’s petitions had succeeded.

Obidients were just too arrogant

He stated, “If Peter Obi had won the #NigerianElections2023 or the Presidential Election Petition Court, there would have been a civil war in Nigeria. Not may. Would. Why? Because he and his Obidients were just too arrogant and were already recreating, and would have further recreated the events that led up to the Nigerian Civil War.”

Omokri further alleged that Peter Obi’s supporters exhibited extreme behavior, describing them as “more fascistic than Mussolini” and claiming that “after Peter Obi lost, prominent Obidients with direct ties to Peter Obi were openly calling for a military coup to restore Obi’s mandate.”

Meanwhile, in response to a comment, Reno Omokri defends his democratic right to support Waziri Atiku Abubakar and reject Peter Obi, emphasizing that differing political preferences do not make him or anyone else evil or good.

Reno further explained that he privately told Peter Obi that his candidacy might weaken the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and accidentally benefit the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the elections.

He also stated the educational qualifications of the major presidential candidates, saying that Peter Obi’s second-class degree in Philosophy places him below others like Atiku with a Master’s in International Relations and Tinubu with a BSc in Accounting.
