Popular Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde shares some childhood experiences and the immediate events that surrounded her father’s death when she was 12 years old.
She recalled these incidents in a touching interview where she was asked about her dad who died while she was in Command Secondary school, Kaduna.
The actress was the only child of her parents for a while so she became his favourite and was so affected by his death that she couldn’t mourn him.

Omotola Jalade attributes all that she has, whether positive or negative to that sole event.
She was so hurt that she became emotionless, not affected by things people said or did to her. Her self confidence became unshakable.
And in a desperation to keep her family together, she was willing to do anything, even go into prostitution!
I didn’t even mourn my dad
The interview with the actress, which was hosted by Chude Jidenwo, has garnered numerous reactions from Netizens who sympathized with her.

Meanwhile, Dorcas Shola Fapson, the Nigerian Disk Jockey and actress, has revealed that dating her current ex was her biggest loss of the year.
The actress who spoke at a show titled “Toke Moments” also disclosed that her relationship with the ex was toxic and controlling.
“That wasn’t love, that was jazz, juju, my eye don clear abeg. Now, like off camera we know what’s up. I was in a relationship for six year, on and off for six years, I’d never come online and talk bad about anyone, I’m very good friends with them, but you see that one person that happened this year,” Fapson said.
