I was called into ministry by God: Pastor Jimmy Odukoya reveals in interview 

The Senior Pastor of Fountain of Life Church, Jimmy Odukoya, says his style of dressing is guided by his faith. 

He spoke to BBC News Pidgin and explained that he believes God has called him to this role, which comes with significant responsibility. He mentioned that after becoming a pastor in 2009, he officially joined the church’s leadership three years later.

He used examples from the Bible to support his choice of clothing. For instance, he compared his dreadlocks to the story of Samson, who was instructed by God not to cut his hair. He also mentioned that even things like having a beard or wearing earrings could be seen in a Biblical context.

I have faced so much loss in my life: Pastor Jimmy 

He emphasized that personal opinions should not be used to judge him and mentioned that he has faced personal losses in his life, including the passing of his parents and other family members. Despite these challenges, he remains steadfast in his faith.

Pastor Jimmy Odukoya believes that his way of dressing is in line with his calling from God. 

He uses examples from the Bible to justify his appearance and suggests that personal opinions should not be used to criticize him. He has faced significant personal losses but remains strong in his faith.

The official Facebook page of Fountain of Life Church has confirmed the sad news of the passing of Senior Pastor Taiwo Odukoya. 

The revered cleric, who was the Founding Pastor of the church, passed away on Monday, August 7, in the United States of America.
