A homeless and disabled man identified as Donovan has been handed a life-changing opportunity after he was gifted a prosthetic leg by a good Samaritan.
Donning an old hat and sitting helplessly on his feeble wheelchair, Donovan had thought “life was over” but a rare constant with Isaiah Garza, a social media influencer ushered in a huge sigh of relief.
Garza, a designer, philanthropist, entrepreneur, YouTuber and Tiktoker asked him to make a wish which Donovan said to walk again.
The homeless man, who recently lost his mum, was then taken to where a prosthetic leg was made for him. He broke down in tears when his new “leg” was ready to walk in.
“It’s been 10 years that I’ve been fighting. I wish she (referring to his late mum) was here,” inconsolable Donovan said.
The leg was successfully fixed and the video documenting the heartwarming process ended with an extremely excited Donovan walking with his artificial leg and playing basketball with his helper.
Donovan is not the only man to have received help from Garza. The American who was once homeless has offered hope and light into the life of dejected hundred in a journey that is documented on his YouTube page and across his social media account.
