Allan Saint Maximin has revealed on Thursday that he wants Marcus Thuram to be part of the Newcastle team.
The Newcastle forward said he had spoken to Thuram about it and he is still pushing to have him at the club by the end of January.

“He is a great player and I hope we have a chance to take him here. I was so happy for him [to play at the World Cup],” he told The Gazette.
“Yeah, I will be honest, I have chatted with him. For me, he’s a great player. I’ve known this guy a long time. I’ve been playing football with him when I was very young. I know all his family. He has great parents. He’s an incredible guy.”
Marcus Thuram was part of the French side that made it to the final at the World Cup. He grabbed an assist against Argentina and had performed well in the number of minutes he played in.
Newcastle are currently enjoying the best form of their lives sitting among the top 5 at the league table. With players like Thuram, they would be more confident of finishing strongly at the end of the season.
