I sold some of my properties to produce Jagun Jagun – Femi Adebayo reveals 

Femi Adebayo, a famous Yoruba actor, recently discussed his latest movie, Jagun Jagun. 

He mentioned that he worked extra hard on this film and even sold his belongings to gather the money for it. Instead of borrowing money from businesses or people, he decided to use his own resources.

He said that Jagun Jagun is a very valuable project, worth billions of naira, but he didn’t reveal the exact amount he invested.

I am worried about my next project – Femi Adebayo 

He admitted that he’s worried about his next project being less successful than Jagun Jagun.

After completing the movie “King of Thieves,” he was very confident about doing even better with his next project. However, that confidence has now faded.

In his words;

Jagun Jagun is a multi-billion naira project and I can’t say the exact amount I spent on it on shooting.

I used the proceeds of Agbeshinkole to produce Jagun Jagun. I was working on not getting funded by finance houses and individuals. At a point, I was out of finance and because I had faith that the project would work, I sold my properties.

My worst nightmare is that I have to be at Jagun Jagun with my next production.”

We built from scratch the warrior school. We were forced with the challenge of purchasing that land, we wanted to own the land. And at a point, we had an agreement and paid for it, but the children of the owner of the land changed their minds about the land sale.

We have built the school halfway when the children who came from Lagos told us to stop. They were ready to destroy all that we built and that held us up for almost a week, going to the Police station and Obas appealing to them and we were told to only shoot there and not buy it.”

Lateef Adedimeji, an exceptional talent in the industry, recently shared his heartfelt gratitude to Femi Adebayo for his unwavering support and encouragement throughout the filming process.

He talked about his tough times, like hurting his leg in the first action scene. Even though he was in pain, Lateef showed impressive strength. He even cried when the director said it was time to start filming.
