Malala Yousafza, the Pakistani Nobel laureate shared how much she admires the Nigerian culture most especially the foods.
It is important to note that Malala Yousafza is a 26-year-old woman who fought for girls’ education and women’s rights.
In 2012, she was shot in the head by Taliban militants who were against girl child education, and on her 16th birthday in 2013, the lady delivered a powerful speech at the UN.

This week, she visited Nigeria to see the vice-president of the country, Kashim Shettima about the investment of girl-child education.
During a chat with Channels Television, Yousafza revealed that she had one of the popular snacks in Nigeria, Puff Puff and she enjoyed it.
According to her, she sees herself as a global citizen, because she not only embraces different cultures and traditions but she loves it.
“I traveled so much around the world that every place seems like home. For me, I feel like I am a global citizen. We should celebrate each other’s cultures and traditions and enjoy the food. I mean, I love jollof rice, plantain, and the food here.”
“I also tried puff puff, it was amazing. Just before my speech at the UN, I was so hungry and I had like five minutes. And then I ate one puff puff and that was amazing. It was the best thing I took before the speech,” she said.

In other news, it is not every day we see white people speak Igbo, Yoruba, or Hausa, and even if they did, there’s always an accent or stuttering as they converse in these languages.
However, an Oyinbo lady has shocked many with her clear and audible pronunciation of the Igbo language as she led praise and worship songs in the church.
In a TikTok video, the lady was captured singing fluently the Christian song ‘Aka Akaya (Aka Jehovah)’, she surprised many with the way she sang the song without any foreign accent or stuttering.
