Popular skit maker Adesokan Adedeji Emmanuel, aka Shank Comics has shocked many over the revelation of his involvement in Yahoo (internet fraud).
He explained that after his graduation from the university, in a bid to make money, he ventured into online fraudulent activities, but wasn’t successful.
He revealed this in a recent interview on BTS Reality.

He said, “When I comot 2019, like March, I first go Oshogbo(capital of Osun state), I first go learn yahoo first. For like six months, I no cash out hundred dollars. Five naira sef, I no cash out.”
His supposed mentor however asked him to leave since he wasn’t making progress.
“He come give me one iPhone 6, na there I come go house. My daddy that time dey shout say ‘elect elect engineering, you graduate with 2.2.’
“That time, my life don spoil, that time I don dey drink, dey do things.”
Shank Comics graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) with a second class lower in Electronic and Electrical Engineering.
Regardless of his past, the 26 year old eventually rose to prominence in Nigeria as an influential content creator, and has put smiles on many with his skits.

In other news, Nigerian skit maker Shank has taken to Twitter to apologize to his fans regarding a recent controversial video centred around Joseph and Mary in the Bible.
The video received significant backlash from viewers due to its content, which appeared to disrespect God.
In his apology, Shank sincerely expressed remorse and clarified that his previous skits, particularly “If Joseph was a Nigerian,” were purely fictional in nature.
