Popular Nigerian pastor,  David Ibiyeomie has shared how he sacrificed a huge sum of money in church when he wasn’t financially buoyant.

The founder of the Salvation Ministries mentioned this during the worship session in his church as he made it clear that sacrificing to God was important.

According to him, he gave one million dollars as an offering to a church and he revealed that at that time nobody except the church’s accountant knew about it.

The pastor also mentioned that at the time he made that offering, he had no property or nothing to his name.

He also confessed that his wife didn’t even know about it until he made a testimony in church, the pastor lectured that success doesn’t come until one proves his faithfulness to God and testify about him.

“When I gave one million dollars as offering, I had no house. I gave it on a Sunday, my wife was not even aware until she heard my testimony. It was only the Church accountant that knew as a privilege of his office when he saw he volume of money that came in,” Pastor David Ibiyeomie stated in part.

Celestial prophet gives Pastor David Ibiyeomie 14 days to apologize

Meanwhile, a well-known Celestial prophet has issued a 14-day ultimatum for pastor David Ibiyeomie to publicly apologise for his recent comments regarding the Celestial Church of Christ.

Expressing strong criticism towards Ibiyeomie, the prophet called for him to retract his statement and offer an apology. 

During a church service, Ibiyeomie expressed his disapproval of white garment churches, including the Celestial Church of Christ, due to their worship style. He went on to suggest that if people were aware of the practices in these churches, they would not attend those churches
