In a recent interview with reality star Tacha on Cool FM, Lagos, Simisola Kosoko, the renowned Nigerian singer known as Simi, shared that she has never experienced heartbreak in a relationship.
Despite singing about heartbreak in her latest song, ‘Stranger,’ Simi clarified that it wasn’t based on personal experience but rather her role as an advocate for those who have experienced heartbreak.
During her conversation with Tacha on “The Big Friday Show,” Simi explained that the inspiration for her latest song came to her easily, even though she has never personally gone through heartbreak.

She recalled being in a mellow mood while driving back home after visiting a friend and their spouse with her daughter. Simi expressed her excitement for the upcoming year, mentioning plans to release an album and singles in the coming months, even though she feels she started relatively late.
Tacha asked if she would collaborate with any female artists, specifically mentioning Tiwa Savage, Simi was open to collaborating with her.
