Temilade Openiyi, a Nigerian afro-pop singer, has expressed gratitude to her fans for the show of love and support she has received since winning a Grammy award.
Taking to her Twitter on Wednesday, February 8, the 27-year-old singer said she did not take for granted all the love and support. Tems also thanked God for what He has done in her life and her musical journey.
“To everyone one that has been supporting me still. Through everything, please know I don’t take it for granted. I truly appreciate it, the love has been too too much. Thank you so much Rebel Gang. We up very soon,” she wrote.
Tems recently won a Grammy award for Best Melodic Rap Performance alongside rappers Future and Drake.
The singer caught the attention of the internal audience after Wizkid featured her in Essence, a smash hit from the album Made in Lagos.
