1. Don’t panic when you hear the gunshots. Be alert.

3. Turn off the the car, remove the key, get out, then roll under the car, if possible.
4. Don’t run directly into the bush close to scene of kidnapping. Run some meters away before entering the bush.
5. Climb a tall tree. Take off your clothes, if they are reflective. Switch off your phone. Stay there until daybreak.
6. Fulani Kidnappers can kill their victims after collecting ransom.
7. If you are caught, cooperate.
8. Pray.
