The popular Nigerian actress Toyin Abraham has disclosed that she was born a stillborn but was miraculously brought to life by a spiritual man.
According to Tribune Newspaper, when the parents of the actress found out she was a stillborn they threw her away only for her to be revived by a pastor.
The actress added that growing up she had a dreadlock and that many people had thought she would become a pastor.
“I was a stillborn child, and my parents threw me away before a good samaritan asked about me at the hospital and brought me back to life,” she said.
“I naturally have had dreadlocks from birth and since birth, I have been spiritual,” she added.
Speaking more about her birth, Abraham also said she was told that she never cried or behaved like most children after birth..
“I was told that I never cried nor did anything until the day of my naming ceremony. The moment they named me Oluwatoyin, I started crying as a baby.”
“I attended Bible school to prepare for my pastoral path, so many believed I would become a pastor due to my spirituality.”
The desire to be a pastor changed after meeting veteran actress Bukky Wright and appearing in her first film in 2003.
The Nigerian has gone on to feature in prominent motion pictures and has solidified her reputation as one of the best in the field.
