How Ejikeme Mmesoma forged her UTME result: JAMB spokesman reveals :ikejabird.com

JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, responded to the trending video in which UTME candidate Mmesoma Ejikeme defended herself against accusations of forging her results.

As Ejikeme claimed that her “results notification” slip, displaying a score of 362, was printed from the JAMB results portal, JAMB argued that her actual score was 249 and that she was presenting a result created using a template that the board hadn’t used in two years.

In an interview with Leadership, Fabian Benjamin said that no candidate had scored 362 in the 2023 UTME examination, and JAMB had already announced the highest UTME scorer, who happened to be from Anambra state.

How she forged the result with QR code

Benjamin referred to Ejikeme’s video, pointing out that the QR code on the result slip she was holding indicated that it belonged to a candidate who had taken the exam in 2021 and scored 138.

Furthermore, Benjamin explained that Ejikeme obtained the result slip from outside the database and mentioned that there are approximately 17 security codes on the slip, including the QR code she mentioned.

He concluded by stating that the design of the slip shown in Ejikeme’s video was not used for the 2023 results, and he challenged Nigerians with candidates in the 2023 UTME to compare it

Reactions: Young citizens fear me

Nigerians are reacting to the interview, Here are some of the comments

@Accoid:The man’s explanation is comprehensive enough, in context many have saying it’s the JAMB system that is causing problem, so I can understand why he vehemently stated that there’s nothing wrong with their system.

@Oyefin_oba:I bet she’s not the first. So many students may have done same and currently schooling in the SE.

@DipoSpeak:After listening to this it’s quite clear that some scrupulous individuals want to damage the integrity of JAMB and these actors most have  probably coerced the young girl to do what she did.

@obasaExchange:na since when the girl don dey talk “I’m traumatized” I don know say something is wrong

@iyaboawokoya:With what I heard from the interview, our young citizens scare me
