Homeschooled 12-year-old boy gains admission to US university, set to become a Computer Scientist | Ikejabird.com

An outstanding African 12-year-old boy has gained admission to the Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC) in the United States.

According to Atlanta Black Star, Elijah Muhammad Jnr. will be making history by becoming the youngest Black student to be accepted into college in Oklahoma.

“He’s graduating with his associate’s degree and his high school diploma at the same time, which will be next year,” said Elijah Muhammad Sr, His father.

Beating his sister Shania’s record of being the youngest person to enroll at Oklahoma City Community College at 13 years old, Elijah will be enrolling at just 12 years old.

Elijah Muhammad Sr. says he figured his son was gifted when he was 2 years old because of his early ability to communicate with his family. 

“He was very attentive, and there were things I noticed from when he was 2 years old that were just different, and I was like it’s time to cultivate this,” Elijah’s father said.

The boy is just exceptional 

Elijah plans to study cyber security once in college. He developed an interest in cyber technology when one of his home computers kept crashing. 

Elijah Muhammad Sr. says he is proud of his family which consists of his wife and their five exceptional children.

He says other families can embark on a journey like his family by simply thinking outside the box when it comes to education.

Meanwhile, a young boy of Nigerian nationality, living with high-functioning autistic disorder has amazed the world by his brilliant academic achievements.

When Joshua was just 10 months old, Knox Daniel, Joshua’s father found out that his son had an exceptional learning ability while he was sitting on his lap in front of the computer.

This was the beginning of his great achievements.
