A genius grandma-grandson team in the US won $56,950.00 (GH¢634,799.44) on the popular Wheel of Fortune game show.
Retta Alexander and her grandson Julian Hernandez defeated other contestants in the competition, qualifying them to advance to the ”Bonus Round” where they won the cash prize.
When Retta and her grandson appeared on an episode of the Wheel of Fortune game show for its ”Grand Getaways Week,” they greatly impressed their audience.
Together, they worked through each puzzle carefully until they reached the ”Bonus Round”
They were given only 10 seconds on the clock to solve a puzzle in the ”Place” category.
The hosts of the show revealed the two-word phrase Alexander and Hernandez would have to solve, ”_ANC_ _ _ _ T _ _ _ E”.

”Well, there are two of you. Feed off each other. It’s a place. You have 10 seconds. Talk it out; good luck’ said the host to the contestants.
Just before the timer began, Alexander shouted the correct answer, ”Fancy boutique,” leaving the hosts, audience, and even her grandson in awe pf her smartness.
For solving the puzzle, they just earned an additional $40,000 and the two joyfully hugged each other.
Together, they won a whooping $56,950.00 (GH¢634,799.44) as their total prize.

Meanwhile, a Nigerian woman shared the story of an agbero she got especially fond of, who clinched a big win in gambling.
This story was told on twitter by the user @Phinesmiles and has received mixed reactions.
According to the twitter user, there was a certain agbero who often hailed her for money and each time she saw him, she gave him some money.
