Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo of Anambra state has offered a full scholarship to Nigerian football prodigy, Chinonso “Amazing Kid” Eche, in recognition of his football skills.
The governor made this known in a statement on Thursday, March 23, 2023, available on his social media accounts including Twitter.
Soludo said he was thrilled by the football skills of the 14 years old who currently holds the Guinness Book of Records football freestyle talent award for a record five (5).
“Finally, I met the Anambra record-breaking wonder kid, young Chinonso Eche (@ChinonsoEche), who is 14 years old and holds the Guinness Book of Records football Freestyle talent award for a record five (5) times.
“As a football lover, Chinonso thrilled my wife and me with breathtaking moves. His control of the round leather orb is undoubtedly next to perfect. As he continues to grow his talent, I have offered Chinonso a full scholarship to study from his current level of education up to the tertiary level.
“I am happy to identify with Chinonso and hope to continue supporting talents that will put our dear state and country on the global map for everything positive,” the statement read.
